About BSIA Lab
In Biomedical Signal and Image Analysis (BSIA) Lab at Rochester Institute of Technology, our mission is understanding human physiology from an engineering perspective, developing algorithms that can benefit global health care, and training the next generation of scientists and engineers to develop and apply engineering principals in biomedicine.
The research of interest includes developing signal and image analysis techniques for medical instrumentation, cardiovascular engineering and instrumentation, and audio and speech processing. The current projects at BSIA Lab are focused on a collaborative research with clinicians to investigate the pressing technology problems and limitations in order to find solutions for a successful atrial fibrillation treatment.
